about

Let's get to the title track of the album. It's the DNA-carrier and defines the tone of the whole record.

In principle it's about a well-known topic: The tortuous paths
of mankind on its search for new, greater superlatives in an increasingly complicated world. This way of human being contains infinitely many detours, all of them represent some kind of problem. For every solved problem a new problem appears and often we only get ahead in very small steps. We have to constantly break new ground in search of the one, ultimate goal. Constantly looking for the one shortcut that gets us there. On that journey it is very likely that we will completely lose orientation and possibly lose the reference point. So there is also a problem of perspective. Where is up, down, left or right? Does that one shortcut even exist?
It is probably the case that we have to accept these facts or to speak in other words: The path is the goal. So let's focus on solving one problem, then the next, and so on. Let's take one detour after the next...........

Interesting thing here: The theme basically unifies all the tracks on the album in some way, although it's not a concept album.
